The ConnecticutBasketballConferencealso known asConnecticutBasketball is formerly the Connecticut Shoreline/Valley Conference. It teaches winning habits to girls and boys (grades 4th-8th), as well as, high school (grades 9th-12th) players from across Connecticu.
Connecticut Basketballserves as the governing body for its member teams, clubs and organizations for its Travel Basketball League (year round) and High School League(fall and summer).
As part of Connecticut Basketball'sstrategic partnership with Sports on 66, its AAU teams (formerly the Connecticut Academics) now play as the Sports on 66Club. Starting in 2018, this partnership will also support Connecticut Basketball'sadult league.
ConnecticutBasketball's primary mission is to educate and encourage the growth of basketball and firmly institute the ideals of good sportsmanship, discipline and teamwork.
feed the hungry--through its Thanksgiving Food Drive;
provides clothing to the poor--with its Holiday Clothing Drive;
offers aid to the sick--through its annual Coaches Versus Cancer initiative.
In short, our League is about teaching winning habits and getting young people prepared for life!
