Coaches v. Cancer Is Here!
Our annual Coaches versus Cancer campaign (and Pink Out) to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital runs Feb. 6–15, 2027!
100% of donations go directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital — and are deposited directly into St. Jude's account. See below.
What Is Coaches v. Cancer?
Coaches v. Cancer is Connecticut Basketball's annual campaign to join the fight against kids' cancer by (i) driving awareness of the disease and showing solidarity with those affected by it through our "Pink Out," and (ii) raising funds to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and support its groundbreaking treatments to defeat kids' cancer.
How to Participate
There are three ways we ask all parents, players, members, and other stakeholders to participate in our final community service event of the season.
  • 1.
Wear Pink at Games, Feb. 6–15, 2027. All parents, players, and coaches wear pink at games during the campaign (with some teams donning pink warmups and pink t-shirts beneath their jerseys) to show support for every person — and family — affected by cancer.
  • 2.
Individual Contributions. For those who have the means, make a tax-deductible contribution at whatever level to St. Jude's using the link below. All contributions go directly into St. Jude's account.
  • 3.
Team or Club Contributions. Some teams (and Clubs) elect to bundle their contributions and give as a Team or Club. (Portland Travel Basketball has made the first contribution in 11 out of the last 12 years.) Use the same link below.
Thank you in advance for your participation and support!
