Four-team bracket. Four teams are placed in a bracket, and the team that wins both games is declared the Champion. The winners of the first two games play each other in the Championship game; the two losing teams play each other in the Consolation game. Teams play, sit, and then play again — most brackets, particularly for teams travelling a long way, run on the same day over two to three hours.

Three-team bracket. The team with the highest power ranking plays back-to-back, and the team with the lowest power ranking receives the rest.
