Turkey Shoot Registration
2026–27 Turkey Shoot Registration
Welcome to the Connecticut Basketball Conference 2026–27 Turkey Shoot (Nov. 28th–29th) registration.
All Connecticut Basketball tournaments are played in the same "high school" or "college" format. Four teams are placed in a bracket, and the team that wins both games is declared the Champion. The only difference is that teams play the tournament in one session — teams play, sit, and then play again in the Championship (or consolation) game. See below for details.
All Connecticut Basketball tournaments are qualifiers for the New England Championships in Tiverton, Rhode Island in March 2027. There are only two ways to qualify:
- Advance to your Championship Game in our League's Season-End Playoffs (available only to CTBBALL regular season teams); or
- Advance to your Championship Game in one of our Tournaments.

Tournament Format
-
1.
Teams are placed in four-team brackets.
-
2.
Like a holiday-style high school or college tourney, the winners of the first two games play each other in the Championship game; the two losing teams play each other in the Consolation game.
-
3.
Most brackets — particularly for teams traveling long distances — are played on the same day in a two- to three-hour period.
Tournament Fee
$250
For two games. You will be billed after registering. As with all CTBBALL travel play: all players from any Club or team must be from the same town and grade-appropriate.
Key Sites
Games Statewide
Including Vale Co-Op (Berlin) and Connecticut Sports Center (Woodbridge). Bracket assignments are made to minimize travel.
