4G NIT Tournament Bracket Champ: Groton-Mystic 4G

Updated 2/21:  Old Saybrook withdraws from tournament. Bracket has been reseeded. Branford #4 is now the higher seed than Portland #5 and will now play at home.  North Branford #2 is now the higher seed than Colchester #3 and will play at home versus Colchester.

 

Notes Common to All NIT Brackets

  • The NIT is for teams that finish the regular season with a record below .500 as of February 16, 2026.  
  • Our League generally follows the standard methodology in seeding brackets however, it is important note:
    • While we generally ustilize a standard methodogy to seed this bracket-- although there is always the potential that an adjustment needs to be made to account for team, coaches  and gym availability.
    • Accordingly, dates, times and locations may sometimes be adjusted to account for these issues.    

4G Connecticut Basketball Conference NIT Bracket

  • This bracket will post on February 22, 2026 at midnight and play begins Friday, February 27, 2026
  • On this datem the matchups will post here and the game details, i.e. date, time and location will appear on your team's schedule.
  • It is imperative that you enter your score as soon as your game is concluded--preferably for your phone--so the bracket can be "advanced" and that everyone knows where they are going for their next game.
  • There may be instances in which a team is entitled to play at home the first weekend but do not have a gym slot  on the day and time necessary to utilize it.  In such circustances, the game must move to another venue.
