Thank you for making Community Service initiatve No. 1 (Annual Food Drive) a success!  Just a reminder. . .

  1. Community Service Initiative No. 2 (Annual Clothing Drive) is scheduled for the week of January 10, 2026 and we will communicate with you about this important event as the date draws closer.
  2. Community Service Initiative No. 3  (Coaches versus Cancer) begins Monday, January 27th and culminates on February 1st-2nd with our annual PINKOUT!
  3. As with all Community Service inititaves, we ask that you review with your kids--as we're trying to create a culture where the kids "drive" each initiative!

More on Coaches v. Cancer

Our annual Coaches versus Cancer campaign (and pink out) to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital begins Monday, January 27th and culminates on February 1st-2nd with our annual PINKOUT!

 

One hundred percent of the donations go directly to the St. Judes Children’s Hospital (and are actually deposited directly in the St. Jude’s account.) See below.  

 

How To Participate?

There are three ways in which we ask all parents, players, members and other stakeholders to participate in our final community service event of the seaon.

  1. Individual Contributions   For persons who have the means, you can make a tax deductable contribution at whatever level to St Jude’s at 2025 CTBBALL Coaches V Cancer Campaign to Benefit St. Judes. Again, all contributions go directly into the American Cancer Society's account.
  2. Team or Club Contributions  Some teams (and Clubs) elect to bundle their contributions and make the as a Team or Club. (Portland Travel Basketball has made the first contribution in 11 out of the last 12 years.)   3.  Wear Pink Feb. 1st-2nd! All parents players and coaches wear pink the weekend of Feb. 2nd-4th (with some teams donning pink warmups and pink t-shirts beneath their jerseys) to show our support for every person (and family) affected by cancer.
